Changes in origional TLK and new DVD version

I was just watching TLK, and I noticed something that was slightly changed from the origional video version of 1994.

At the scene where Mufasa fights off the hyenas and tells Simba, "Let's go home." The camera looks up at Scar who's staring down at the group.

In the DVD, Scar is still staring down at the group, but he also turns his head a little and looks to the left side at the end of the scene. In the origional version, he looked straight down the whole time.

I have a video I made attached to this. I used my webcam to record it so it's not very good quality, but you can see his head turn and not.

The first clip part is from the TLK Special Edition, the second is from the origional TLK of 1994.

Anyone else notice differences? Please post them here.

Hey there!
There have been some changes. Obviously the new song, but that's an extra, and can be ignored.
The waterfalls in CYFtLT have been remastered - it is a different cascading water effect.
The crocodiles and birds in JCWtbK have been redone (not to my taste)
The SFX/SEX has finally been clarified when Simba flops down after discussing the stars with Timon and Pumbaa. It's SFX. As if we needed telling.
The colours are generally brighter.
That's all I noticed (and read about...I am *such* a TLK geek)
But you know, I have never noticed the Scar head turn or the trees :P

Well, I meant changes that are completely different. Not just colors or remastering.

Like I said in my first post, in the origional movie he simply stared down at them, in SE, he stares down at them and then his head turns a bit just before the camera fades out. That's completely added.

The crocs do look entirely different though. The whole style has changed.

Do you think that these changes were added in the process of putting the film on DVD, or they were witheld from the VHS?

I'm not really sure why they changed them.

I think I just noticed another one too.

I just got done watching TLK2 and I think I noticed another small part.

Right when Kiara and Kovu are getting chased by the gators, there is a brief second where it zooms in on Kovu so he can kind of yell. That's the VHS version from 1998. On the DVD, the camera isn't as far zoomed in and he looks side to side as he yells, not just at the croc.

There's one more change – after "Cicrle of life" (just before big red title), when camera zooms out, infant Simba has got a tail, though a few seconds before he didn't have. There were no this tail before DVD.

I didn't see DVD version of TLK...and I saw TLK1 only when i was 8 or 11...And i forgot a lot of details))) I want to see TLK1...but i have only TLK:SP on VHS))))

Nice for Disney to do that... unnecessarily. Baby cubs do not have significant tailtufts.
