Why do you need experience?

To function in society.

Really if one didn't require any experience, one would feel their purpose in life would be a bit empty. As I go through my life, I would stray to different points, trying to learn what I could in the time that I spent in a particular area, be it learning a language, a skill, or just having a random conversation with someone I've never met.

Just for the sake of clarification - I meant that you needn't hire already experienced dudez; you can hire some beginners and they shall gain experience over time...

Apparently that's what employers think college is for, to gain experience that way so they can function as fast as possible immediately upon hiring. Well, whatever. College is expensive, and when your businesses go down the tubes because you won't hire people willing to work, then... just... whatever. :/

Not that what I propose is a solution but...

You know, I was thinking about becoming a teacher and being an educator or a mentor, but it seems to me that a lot of people either have ADD disorders (Hey, don't boo me, I have it, too), or they're in this "I don't really care" mode. It's a hard life, knowing half of the people you meet are infected with the apathy virus. And it's infectious, too, so I have to inoculate myself with a daily dose of harsh education.

I've always been fond of a couple of my teachers.. including one teacher of mine from 18 years ago, Darlene Diane Downy. Second-grade teacher from Kenneth Hall Elementary in Spring Lake Park, MN. I can still remember her to this day...

Anyone here have an influencial teacher?
