Yes... Voice-to-Voice communication.
When you talk through mic to each other for no cost what so ever.
The client is we'll be using is Ventrilo you can download it from the link here.
A program commonly used by gamers.
And the reason why i'd like to use Ventrilo is that it's completely free for private use aswell as I can host a server my self very easy.
Hosting a server is not a thing one does without knowing if it'll be used and that's what this thread is for... To see who would be signing up for this.

To sign up you write: /sign and put a bright red color on it.
That is it'll be easier to count them if the intrest shows to be high.
It'll look like this:

/sign

Then when all the signs have been counted and if it's a high enough intrest I will kick up a server for it and we'll all decide when to do this with one-time-fits-all timeline.
We'd also be thinking up rules for this server together.
Then it's time for the test run where we al do sound checks and then start talking.
And the if it's a succses we could continue using it.
Our own VTV server for this forum only. Isn't that cool.

Well... Everybody doesn't use IP-phone systems so this is a one-size-fits-all program that is real easy to use.

So you're saying Skype might be a better way?
If so:

* Is it user-friendly? (Everybody isn't that haxxor.)

* How does one find servers? (If it uses servers that is.)

* How many people can connect at a time? (Can we speak all together.)

* Is it free Computor-to-computor?

* Does it require registration? (Does that cost and/or is it complicated.)

* Does ir require special gear? (ex. Skype-mic.)

* What are the system requirements? (We don't want that anyone can't join because the got a slower type computor.)

Well if it is better then it would be optimal to switch to that.

* User-friendly, like other instant messengers.

* Central data server, direct voice connections.

* Peer-to-peer and conference calling.

* Free.

* Free and easy.

* Any mic and any speakers.

* 400 MHz processor, 128 MB RAM and 15 MB free disk space.

I use 5 IM clients already... don't need more than that.

My Skype username is the same as my messageboard name. But you need to identify yourself before I contact you.

I'm fond of the idea using skype... seems to be a really good prog and seems many uses it so.
I'll just wait for the poll and see to it that we get a conference going soon.

Keep in mind that VoIP clients are only as good as your internet connection.

If I'm talking to anyone in Russia, the quality might be poor. I only have ADSL, which has a terrible upload speed.
