HansZimmer is a great composer. He has produced the Soundtrack of the Lion King, everything you hear in the film (the Pop-Songs like CYFTLT are co-produced with Elton John of course). If you want to listen to more Hans Zimmer musik, you can buy the "The Rock" soundtrack, for example. And even one track from Madagascar is composed by Zimmer.
He has begun his carrier as far as I know in the mid 80s in the german Pop-Band Ultravox, which was quiet successful back then (yes, zimmer is born in Germany ,) )
By the way, he has also worked one the Brother Bear soundtrack, cause it's made by Mark Mancina, who is in his company
And, luckily he has been never involved into death metal ^.^

"Sometimes what's left behind can grow better than the generation before, if given the chance"
Yeah, "Zimmer" means "room" in German
Erm...I'm not understanding the rest of your post, did you mean that in "Brother Bear" a bulgarian women choir sings to a song called "Transformation"?
And what "Mancina's" mean?
As I already said, if you would like to I cold help you to learn a bit of the german language

I can, and I will do.
I really should watch all the disney films of the last years I've not seen...
Well, The Lion King has - I guess - the magic of the first film starring "animal charakters" and TLK also has a magic philosophy...
It was only the Beta film, all of the best Disney people had worked at "Pocahontas", but the Lion King-crew has risen to the more successful film (And, how I find, not undeserved...)
