I'm reading the number, thinking "forty-thousand, seven hundred and seventy-one percent." You just mean "forty point seven-seven-one percent."
So that totals 200%.

Yeah, I meant this. But in German the . is used to mark the thousands, and , is used to show the decimals than. Uff, what a sentence.

Yeah, your period/punkt and comma/komma are swapped from other currency displays.
€32,89 - Zweiunddreissig Euro und neunundachtzig Cent, I think that would be. Just for example.

Excactly! And we say, for example we say (one can do it also without a . ):
32.400,50 € = Zweiunddreißigtausendvierhundert Euro fünfzig (Cent).
Before the Euro we in Austria have used: SCHILLING and GROSCHEN !
(1 € = 13,7603 Schilling, 1 Schilling = 100 Groschen)
But now...we also have the €, not bad

Yeah! I have just all sets except those from the three tiny states:
Finnish, Austrian, German, France, Spanisch, Portugese, and so on...all...how much were it...12? 13?
A complete collection! Very proud of it ^^
And I have coins of nearly every european country, also the EU lands before the Euro was introduced, coin from PALAU (Oceania), coins from Austria in the time between the two world wars, and, and, and!
