English-speaking forum?
I'm back, after a long two months of miserable retail work.
I came back because I find that this is one of the best Lion King forums out there... except there's a problem.
I have to keep asking my friends Sergey and Vladamir to help read some of the details here... they are the only people I know who can speak Russian. (I'm having Sergey translate some of Protv Scar's imagry, scar_profile1.jpg and young_simba.jpg.)
I don't know if it is a problem for you that I cannot speak Russian at the moment... I could use a translator, but that is not a good idea: #1; translations via the net are very poor, and #2; I don't learn anything. ^^
Perhaps in time, I will learn Russian like I am learning German at The Furry Forum.
Otherwise, this is a great place and I wish to stay.

Then I shall forward more English-speaking potential members here, or would you think that popularity is not a good idea?

Generaly speaking this is not a bad idea to add english-only part of the forum. Anyway there's tonns of information in english, which this or that way have to be translated/edited to put on the forum. From time to time I can make good *cough* translations of the most interesting parts. Thus both fandoms will benefit from it. Hopefully.

The Sonic God, I don't think there would be problems for anybody that you can speak only English. Most people have learnt English at school. Everybody will only benefit from it - practice is very good thing. And if you use computer to translate your messages, it would be harder to understand you even for those who can't speak English well.
Sarafina, maybe there's no so much English-speaking people just because you haven't added other languages.

Hey Sonic God!
English people do have lots of info about TLK that they can share, and I think that if more english people joined (we could at least have english-only threads rather than separate areas) this could help improve the Russians' english. My Russian has been improved by this forum (thanks a lot people!) - This is what I get for living in the UK for the past 9 years *sigh*
And this is the BEST forum around! Thanks a lot, Sarafina!

That's cool. >^_^<
I'd love to share any TLK information that I have with you all.
As far as the Russian goes, I was given a quick pronunciation lesson from Sergey. Needless to say, I could not repeat what he said because I have no idea how he said what he said. He laughed a little bit. Most of us Americans never understand correctly the first time.
I can read and understand German. When I first began learning German, I had no idea how to pronounce the double-s character (If I type it here, it will appear as a Russian character).
For now, I'll just make an attempt to read it. But having not idea on just how to read it or how to pronunciate it for that matter... that will be quite some time from now.
Until then, I'm happy to be a part of this forum!

ЗДРАВЕЙТЕ ВСИЧКИ!!!
Hello everyone! I have just joined the forum. I really think there should be one "only-english" part of the forum - if you speak only English you will know there will be a place where you can understand everybody and everybody can understand you! That doesn't count me - I am Bulgarian so I speak Bulgarian but I can understand Russian quite well (Bulgarian is just like the Russian so it is not a problem(most of the times) for me to understand Russian). What about the English - I can speak English perfectly - I have learnt it for 10 years... and I also study German,Spanish and Italian - super isn't it?
